My wallet's bleeding and I don't know why
Saved up, ready for a change

Tempt my fate in real estate

A five bedroom craftsman newly listed on Zillow
It's built on a cul-de-sac in the best school zone
It costs a million-five, and the HOA is high
I guess I'll always be a homeless millennial

Lower my expectations
I'll leave this town and hit the road
This isn't quite what mom and dad had in mind
If this is what it takes I'll DIY in the countryside
