Hoping to return
With a faith held fast
The thrill or fear of a moment
That can burn me today
Like a shard of sunlight piercing
The shadows of my past

I know I'll find…. somewhere in this perfect mess
Time will show… a blessing in disguise

Someday I'll look back on these moments
All the times I walked through my fears
Only by the truth was I delivered
