I tried to stop myself falling but it didn't work

The path is dark when you feel alone
The only time I get to do it is when I have to go
The cry of the crowds heading towards the light
Nothing inside of me, too weak to fight
And stand out from the sheep, follow the voice
And leading them by fear but they have a choice
Throw them into the pit, the pit is so dark
But it's easy to escape if you have the spark
The path is so narrow and it's hard to find
Tryna light it up so you can see it blind
And when we're through sing me to sleep
The sun is setting, I'm feeling weak
I feel so weary and tired of this place
Is there another way to escape?

Too many times, I have hidden what's inside
So many lies, hard to find the truth, when it is disguised
