That it's an endless cycle of fleeting pipe dreams?
All my expectations versus reality
Cut me cleanly at the knees
And instilled a sense of apathy
This compulsively unhappy world can get overbearing
Stare at the ceiling
I'm under siege of conflicting feelings
And I just want to feel happy
For more than five minutes at a time
