Reach The Pedals

Sitting in that barn, it ain't seen dirt for at least 3 years
He would push the clutch and say, "Son, find that second gear
Say yessir when you answer, always look me in the eye
Have a shoulder for a woman, sometimes they need to cry"

Just a few things I learned along the way
Been passed down but I use them everyday
It's the simple things in life
That get you through the fight
Go to church, stay clear of that old devil
That's what my daddy taught me
