So easily they flew into the cage

His name came up and they fell from the sky

One sang a song so wild and free, the other sang at the kitchen sink
And he longed for the melody of both
He wasn't cruel, he wasn't mean, but he had a way of breaking things
His aim was truer than an arrow from a bow
