I remember when I used to dress up like Michael Jackson and practice the moves from the "Beat It" music video
Later my uncles introduced me to the studio (They did)
I knew for sure ever since then that I'd be a singer one day
I was only like 11 (Yup)
I grew up watching my mom struggle too
That's, that's actually what made me humble (Mhm)
I knew right when I got out of high school, like (Class of 2017)
If I wanted this to happen, I had to do it, like
I had to work hard 'cause I wanted it to happen so quickly
I understand it takes time but I, I needed it to happen quick
So I started working at different places like Walmart, UPS, Apple
I was doing two different construction jobs
I remember I was doing door to door, like
"Hi, my name is Marvin, I'm with AT&T, we recently just upgraded the..." (Face ass)
"The fiber in your neighborhood"
You know, I was doing stuff like that
Just, just so I could, you know what I'm saying
Have money to go to the studio (Ching ching)

I was blowing the money, I shouldn't've been, but
I was, but I just been through a lot to get to this moment, like, it's crazy
But my life's a blessing (Blessing)
I just, I'm just blessed to be where I'm at
And I'm so content with my life right now (Yes, sir)
