Lost and greed and anger, and violence within reach
Full dark would seem like sunrise on an Ibizan beach

And the things I see that others see while looking at their phone
Disturbing lost childhood dreams and being all alone
The joy of laughter, innocence, lighthearted interaction
Crushed beneath the force of the addict's satisfaction

Look away, look away, I challenge you to try
Look the other way, and look somebody in the eye
And while you're at it, please consider taking me along
I tried to look away but the pull was much too strong

And words that better never should have been spoken at all
Are written in the toilets of every school and nursery wall
