Giving food and shelter an ever-open door

Joining in the war cry to sweep away the shame
Of poverty and hunger, the enemies within
Making good from evil to free the world from sin

But through all this heartache, she kept her faith alive
She was a true believer, never did despair
her spirit never wearied, she would always care
