Hard to believe
Raised to deceive

People can't see
Way out of touch
And lying straight up
A grifter without any shame
Just playing the game

From where I stand
I see a chancer without a plan
Waiting to see how the wind blows
Before he takes sides

A fool by design
But underneath not so benign
Feigning concern before making
That ill-judged aside

Downplay it all
When your friends drop the ball
Shrug and deny it
When they're all bang to rights
Oh, how we laughed
At the sociopath
Just a grifter without any shame
