It was Christmas Eve and I was full of cheer
The stocking were hung by the chimney with care
When the clock struck nine, to bed I went
But I couldn't fall asleep due to excitement
Around midnight I heard someone stirring
I went into my living room to see what was occurring
And right next to my Christmas tree
A guy crawled out of the chimney
He had a bag of gifts and a big old belly

His beard was white and his hat was red
He started dancing then he looked at me and said

The Christmas spirit had taken control
I had plenty of eggnog, enough to share it

We danced for a while then they had to split
