Good Enough For Jesus

I don't like doing what the government says
I don't judge a boy by his long-haired head
I like my bread with a little bit of sweet red wine
I like sitting in the woods or sitting on a boat
I like hanging around with the outcast folks
And telling that devil he can kiss me where the sun don't shine

For some time there I was blind but now I see
What's good enough for Jesus
Is good enough for me

That golden rule was a pretty tough sell
'Cause loving everybody is hard as hell
Getting close to the end of myself ain't a place I thought I'd be

A lot better high and a brand new stoned

I chase this world around the world and back
Trying to be this and trying to be that
Trying to fill my cup being everybody's cup of tea
There's a better way nowdays that I find peace
