Perhaps you'll wonder why you'll never see my face again
But now and then you'll find the ending fairly fine
Words without regard would often make the moment harder
Than we wanted but then again somewhere we had to draw the line

A letter left beside the bed
That tells story love is dead
Yet crying over endings is absurd
For no one makes a promise without knowing it could break
And what a grave mistake to have this promise heard

Laughter through the tears is all we have throughout the years
When all the words we've ever heard are only blue
Every now and then we see that even seasons end
But of their endings bring the dawning of the new
