The passengers inside a plane nearly went insane when they felt shaking right underneath their feet
Until the pilot really calm explained it on the intercom
And told them to remain buckled in their seats

A giant mass of wind and rain aka a hurricane was tumbling across the whole East Coast
We surely had a lot to lose because we heard upsetting news
The nation's biggest city would be damaged the most
The people wondered nervously if they had done this purposely
As if the moving clouds gathered right above their heads
Trees fell down and houses shook
Category 1 was all it took to leave all [?] and boardwalks in shreds
We digged from all the power lines oh this is one of many signs that signals our impending doom
