My Tribute

My Tribute

(album: Songs From The Writers Pen - 2023)

Hello, this is bishop Norman Hutchins
This is my tribute to two very special people
The first one is my mother
I am the man I am today
The preacher and the artist because of my mother
She taught me how to play the piano
She gave me my first sermon and she ministered to me
Throughout the years when I started preaching at eight years old
My mother gave me my first sermon
She's in Heaven now
But I am because she was
The second person who mean so much to me
Is the late Andraé Crouch
I remember the first day that I met him
I was at a church singing
And on my way back to my seat someone gave me a card
And I looked up and I couldn't believe it
It was Andraé Crouch
Invited me to his church, I met his father
And I praised for him and sang and
They allowed me to grow my gift and my talent
What was really special is one day at Andraé's house
He was sitting at the piano and I sat beside him
He was playing one of the songs that I had written
And I just could not believe that I was sitting at the piano
With the legendary Andraé Crouch
And I believe that day a lot of his inspiration certainly fell on me
And so this new song that I'm getting ready to share with you is called "I Just Know"
And I dedicate this to the late Andraé Crouch and also to my mother
I pray that you enjoy
