Postcard #23

(album: Postcards - 2015)

June 7th, 2015

When I was a kid, just about nine
I went to a therapist for some time
And the other kids at school asked, "What's wrong with you?"
When I was twenty-one, I was confused and sad
I went to a therapist to talk about that
And I would wonder and worry what's wrong with me

Now I'm thirty-four
Sometimes that darkness comes knocking on my door
Sometimes I'm lost, making my way through the maze
But me and the darkness can coexist
I've got my GPS, I've got my therapist
And there's nothing wrong with me
I'm just a human being
With a lot of feelings
With a lot of questions
