(album: The Cherry Trees Are Still In Blossom - 2022)

Hey, Emma, it's uh, December 19, 2002
So here's another song I wanted to send you to see what you think, um
It's called "Rocky Dennis' Farewell Song"
And I wrote it after I rewatched the film Mask
You know, the one from the 80s with Cher?
I loved that movie when I was a kid, um
Now when I watched it some time ago I thought it was a bit too sentimental
But I was still touched by the possible love story between Rocky and Diana
There's just something, um, so unsettling about it
Uh, I felt like I needed to continue the story
So I guess this is like, uh, fan fiction or something, in a way
Uh, it goes something like

done
