East bound I-20 in the middle of the night
Took a last minuet trip to the coast on the right, the Atlantic
Damn it feels so good to breathe that ocean air
With my shoulder bare I don't own a care and I'm almost there
Two trucks on the highway otherwise I'm flying solo

When I hit that coast though I'ma spend a few days 'round the bay and head north towards Soho
I ain't ever been that far North so why not take a visit

That's why part of me is dead and gone
