For her to lose control
Over the drinking and the cheating

Pistol by her side
Finger on the throttle

Before she new the gun was smoking
As he laid upon the phone

Distraught and confused
Dropped the pistol from her hand

She forgot that the city
Was worse than home
Barefoot and broken hearted
She's far away from home

She was found in an ally
