Murder, lie, cheat, steal, kill for the love of money and pursuit of power
Kids wounded by adult figures and they cry at night in their scar tissues
Politicians make decisions that hinders the lives of the poors and don't see the issue
Churches take money from God, children play any part in the politics
It's hard to know who to trust when the truth is irrelevant to the reverent
God, we really need your medicine 'cause the painkillers never kill the pain

I don't want more than we're supposed to have (supposed to have) I just want all of thriving (thrivin')
I'm really praying the prayer that God said in the New Testament (yeah, dream)
"Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on Earth like in Heaven"
