But it wasn't the time or the place yet
Feel the burn of your knees on the pavement
And losing someone you love

Now you're carving your name on a park bench
Charlie barks in his sleep on the carpet
Is it framed so the frames not forgotten

Lately I've been late night talking
To myself a bit too often
Maybe I got lost in something
Under the stars and the State of my Heart

Maybe its a fever dream
Regarding all the space between
These poems and apologies And if you're really that far
From wherever you are

Fall apart but its part of the sequence
We don't know where we go when we're sleeping
Can you bring it to life if you speak it
If you say it out loud
All this time it was never a straight line
I'm every me that I've been at the same time
Its insane to explain to a sane mind
What's a sane mind
