Climbing telephone poles when she was eighteen
At the time men told her she was crazy
They didn't even have a woman's restroom for her till the '80s
Way before they gave equal pay
Working twice as hard just to see a raise
All while raising babies, that nine to five now got her tired
Coming home and struggling to open her eyelids
But still, she gotta go and cook dinner for five kids
I'm talking about the strongest woman I know
That is my mother, the vibrant, most amazing lady alive
