Thoughts weigh heavy
Bring me down at times
Overthinking
All these things I've tried

Way that things been looking you would think that I been celebrating
I be lying if I said that things been better lately
I feel like God was speaking to me when I meditated
He said I deviated from the path that he created
Thinking I'm a better person when I'm medicated, hella faded
Feeling my emotions when I'm elevated
They been putting cameras on me, damn I need a better statement
Waving back to home, they can't believe it, damn he finally made it
They can't even see it, think that I'm conceited, I can't believe it
With your actions there's no rhyme or reason, for me to be the same
I'm living in a different season
They say that all we keep is legacy so I'ma leave it
Until deletion, building kingdoms at a deadly rate
I'm at a place that if you're fake then we can not relate
And every way I turn I'm cutting corners, catching snakes
Moving forward keeping pace and leave the rest to fate, I could never change

At the top I'm sitting closer to the stormy weather, feeling pressure
I can feel 'em judging me by my endeavors, I could never
Say that this was effortless, I put in years
To get to levels that I represent, I'm here to lead the people
Better than the president, not pointing fingers
But I'm speaking in the present tense, and ever since I left my home
I feel like all I want's a call
But I never pick up the phone so I know that I'm at fault
Now the focus is honed in on scrolling Instagram
Too many messages, people say that they give a damn
Now I'm a different man
My father says I'm too busy, my mother says I'm always gone
I can't remember a night that I really felt at home
I'm finding comfort in traveling to a place unknown
Changing like the seasons and recognizing that I have grown
