I reminisce about times that are long gone
HBC crew, we would live forever like a godlike phenomenon
Into this world with a skydive and a smile, like a Formula One test drive
Some of us on overdrive, did not live to see 25

This all happened before internet
It was a physical interconnect
With our fists up high, out on the city
We let the music intensify
We almost lasted a lifetime
But one more thing before we close our eyelids
We have to tell our kids
To live fast, no regrets and no fucking grids

A lot of time with the band and no school
But we were not fools
We just made up our own rules
We knew exactly what we wanted to do
To get off social welfare our parents working overtime
Still not a single dime
And sometimes just to get it
Some of us did a bit of crime
