Started out in high school when we first met
I was living with my aunt and uncle Ben
And through all of the tough times you were always my true friend
Yes we both had our own feelings for Mary Jane
And other times threatened to turn the sun to rain
But you were always my BFF until that day

In another life
We'd last till the end
They'd even call us the two friendly neighborhood best friends
And I would stop that craft
And you would not be sad
We could even share an icecream cone but it's too bad

We use to carve out pumpkins for halloween
Cheesy yes but they were treasured memories
Now you carve them by yourself and use them as bombs on me

Remember watching Lord Of The Rings by ourselves
You preferred the goblins I cheered on the elves
I never imagined you would become one yourself

We would stop the bad guys in their tracks and foil their plans
