Walking on the city concrete
I fall into a vision on Front Street

And the faces of all the pedestrians
The strangers I pass that look like friends

Heart heavy in the town I grew up in

For every ounce of suffering and mystery
There's a child that's born in a hospital
A flower that blooms in the freezing cold

And it's a miracle
Of cosmic chance
