I've been afraid but never a coward
I won't blame misfortune away or say I'm the victim

And even though I swore I'd never believe in magic
I can't help but look back on each storm
And out to a sea that's calm now and not feel redeemed
Like maybe this tide will carry me safely to blue skies

At long last, I no longer seem to feel like a ghost
At long last, I no longer feel I'm cursed to the cold
And even after all the hell I've been through, the hell I've been through
I still feel the tide is leading to blue, leading to blue skies

I'm not the same, I'm no longer hiding
