Found a cheap therapist

And gave up on all my friends
I bought some self help books
Stopped giving myself dirty looks
And started breathing again
Got really into dirty martinis
Stuck a rainbow key chain on my rear view
To remind myself the pot of gold
Is always just up the road

Bottom line, I survived yeah
Spent all year being so dramatic

In the spirit of full disclosure
After 5 years it was over
Moved out, found an apartment across town
Wrote a whole album about it
Called my sister to cry about it
And listen to Chris Martin sing "Magic" for the 99th time
Left my heart in two dozen states
And got a credit card, couldn't pay it off
Guess sometimes you just surprise yourself
With what you do to move on
