Hate Less, Love More

Someone's always holding up a sign
Drawing or crossing a line
Painting up a downtown wall with what they think
Standing on the left or the right
Always gotta pick a side
But why should we have to fight for what we believe?

Without being too political or too critical
I've got something to say
It's really not a riddle, no, it's really quite simple
And it may even sound cliche
