I see myself under water

I emerge wet and screaming bloody murder
And you might say I make myself
Into a marginal victim
A baby crying hard until I get what I want
But there is a friction between
What I want and what I need
And it is clear that I must scream
So I paddle harder
Pain exists in ways you inflict
The breaks you can't solder
Write about me
Live in your own world of hurt
Steal the lake from the water
And I'll conflate the ones who Made me feel a part of their system
Every screaming man gets what He wants and doesn't know the difference
Between what he wants and thinks he needs
And I always find myself to be
