Carla came home middle of the night
Sunglasses on and tears in her eyes
Carla came home tonight just for Christmas time

Daddy said he ain't no count
He'd grab his gun and go hunting
And shed bring him to the house
Now something tells me tom walker is out of the picture now

They quit searching for my brother in law
Gave him a week and then they called in the dogs
