I watch a raven hop. Hop-hop-hop, rock, rock
Rock-to-rock, still hot round the house fire's afterglow
Yesterday, saw that raven picking at an empty hard-hat
Rocking by the side of the road
I tossed a rock, it echoed cross the vacant lot
The raven cawed and slowly, indolently flew away
Look down and stare, I shouldn't care. I shouldn't care
It's not like we were gonna be good friends anyway
