The snow is falling on the trees
I think it's really pretty
'Tis the season to be jolly
I see mistletoe and boughs of holly

But it's 4 AM on Christmas eve and I'm still waiting...

Santa Claus, I know you are busy
But please don't forget me
I really want that pony
I've waited oh, so patiently
To see presents under the tree
I even left some cookies

The stockings hung by the chimney
Will soon be full of candy canes
My Christmas list is very short this year
Just don't forget that pony
