'To swim in the marathon race'
But a little boy came and he fished her out
And Nellie, she lost her place

As she swam to the top for air
And she came out by the winning post
And all her friends were there

Her friends were cheering loud
Nellie the Newt is the marathon champ
And Nellie was very proud
