I'm laying down under the stars
Wondering what they all are

The wisdom inside of these flows
Is also admitting my flaws
See, I ain't too proud to say I'm not perfect
I live with a lot of these thoughts
I hate what's inside of my head, but
I can't make it stop
It's why I like taking these chances
Moments where growth advances
We stare at the moon, a canvas
While writing these poems and stanzas
Yo, I make my bed, I sleep on the floor
I guess I've been searching for answers

I'm tryna pick at my standards
I do all the things that I should
Regretting some others I could
I'm finally taking a stand
