My mum was just crying and I looked to my mum's face
I remember I started crying 'cuh my mum was crying
'Cause I could feel her pain
I didn't know what was going on, but I could feel her pain
And that's the day we found out that my dad was murdered, murdered in Dalston
I'll never forget walking through the flats, bro
Getting in that, flipping, um, the back of the police van
I'll never forget the back of that police van
I don't know why I hold on to that memory
But I'll never forget being in the back of that police van
I just felt numb, bro
