Yeah, well high school graduation came. somehow they let me pass
Told me to go off to college, but man, I wasn't doing that
So I loaded up this guitar, put on some boots, and hit the road
To chase that dream to play and sing down there on music road

The next thing I know, couple songs I wrote got me a record deal
And they put 'em out, sent me out to see how it made the people feel
Yeah, me and my band hopped in a van to go play some college shows
And that's why we're here, so let's drink a beer, 'cause there's one thing that I know
