Gonna make it even if I have to take it
Patiently building a frame

But I stand tall, try to keep my head up
Better with darkness and clouds
Hoping that soon that it'll soon let up
I thrive for other people's success
So much that I have lost myself
To the point my mind is such a fucking wreck
On a crash course for years, I've felt like the dummy
Straight driving behind the wheel with no airbags for comfort
So I sit here and wonder if I'll ever recover
Stumbling trying to not let myself crumble
Speak to God every time my mind struggles
Just remember everyone's time has an ending number

Since the age of 16, I been on my own
Quit school and got a job, bought a home
Lost my dad when I was just eleven
And now he watches from heaven
If he was present then I probably wouldn't be so depressed and
If he could see how much that I have grown, all over the globe
Or see me at a sold out show
I would love to hug him
Talk about our times in the past
And how much I used to be a pain in the ass, but I can't
So I just keep it moving, put my life into my music
It's the only way I can get through it, my therapeutic
The way my mind works, I hope that I don't lose it
With all of my pain I just wish that I could diffuse it
