I traveled through the stars
Unraveling the patterns and skidaddle into scars
Battling a martian known as happiness and ravenously grappling with sappiness while packing into cars
If the cosmos was this town I probably would have to sit down for hours just to catch my breath and try not to assess my death
Head hung low I caught myself falling from a 20 story building by the fibers of a drawstring
And I whispered to the concrete quietly
I whispered to the air a little louder to the fibers in the dust I was screaming at the top of my lungs, I was singing to the flowers, I was ringing her for hours till she finally picked up once
Till she finally picked up
You can call it dumb luck I'll call it another sign that her and I are more than just another lump some
See I found hope inside a record store and sloped anticipation
I gave it with a smile for her birthday celebration, when we gathered around the fire and unbroken exaltation, I was smiling, crying, I was riding in a spaceship, I was hunting down love in the empty black darkness
Dying kept popping back up like Jack Harkness, you were all of space and time
