I'm out of touch with the common man

What's the sense in purpose
If I loathe all I see? put my hands up and blot them out
Peace is distance from my surroundings

Or begging for a clean slate
If you spoke to me I'd whisper words so heavy they'd crush your dreams just as quick as they had come to be
Because after you've done all that you can
