New Year's Resolution #7

This'll be the year, finally clean up all my messes

This year, I'm gonna tell that girl just how much I love her

This year, I'm gonna see my dad and catch up on his stories
Write down all the ones he wants to say before he's gone

This year, I'm gonna do what I did right in the last one

Fix the things I couldn't fix that happened in the last one
And try my best with every breath, not to give up on a dream

And if I do it right this year, I'll go surfing a few more times
See a few more country, try a few more wines
This'll be the year that I make a brand new record
