We live on the water
My family and I
We go where the current takes us
And one by one we die

And they never let us land
The hunger is endless
Water running low
From coastline to coastline
Forever we must go
The men with the guns come crowding
And they force us out to sea
And I don't know where we're sailing
If they know, they don't tell me

And I don't know who they are
We can't sail this sea forever
Though we've already come so far
But the men with the guns seem angry
That's the worst of the mystery
For I don't who sent them
To point their guns at me
The old ones are dying
We bury them at dawn
A final look at their faces
