Money's been a problem ever since I was young
And tags were popping, slerping, rhyming, every time it was lunch
You'll look blinded by these diamonds, cost of driving and such
But guys my eyes are on the prize, The lines my rhyming can touch
I was a silent scrawny white kid with my mind in a rut
And momma's crying, daddy's lying bout last night where he was
I was nine, and I was watching all my friends load a gun
But knew with time and pressure diamonds are refined in the rough

Had to sleep in the garage
It was that or on the side
Of the street cause rent was high

To buy a house of our own

To call a house my fucking home
Our own kitchen to roam
Our own sink and a stove
