The slogan is insincere
If they built the interstate at a recent date they wouldn't build it here
We're a hundred miles from the closest town
A nosebleed seat where your world spins out of the shot
I never gave it a thought

I got my wind knocked out
Where all the windmills crowd
The greatest view for awhile

To the passerby
Glad for a road this clear
To roll the state at a decent rate by the startled deer
And the drive won't stop till the third world war
When the streams run dry or a similar sort of event
I'll never see them again
