With bated breath, expecting
It took control over my life
Just going round and around now
This story kinda suits me
So I'll continue on to write

Feeling the energy call me
The tempo changing
Without another word, I could now see
The rule to heed

Blindly running all around
We were slowly counting down
And now we play a loser's game
Somehow I can't shake
This pain that there's some things I didn't know
And never may

The heart of it, I think
Was the perfect life I dreamed
It wasn't really fated, right?
I'm bathing in the light
I'll ride on the harmony echoing
