I hear the finger tapping on the glass behind me
It's much too real to be reality

We are emerging
Neurons are surging
And we are searching
For who might be lurking
We all are I am
We are the same man
I need some help now
I'm seeing shadows

What are these parasites
Little glints of flashing lights
Shadows in the murky sky
Ocean of a lullaby
From oh so long ago
These demons know just where to go
They bite my memory and make
A whole new episode
Sing me a starry night
Starless nights give me a fright
Nothing ever feels right
Unless it isn't worth my time
Maybe that's just self hate
A metaphor of what they'd say
They who I don't know but they
Will never let me get away
