A state of death but trapped in time
Afflicted with a nightmare's touch
That mother could not cure
A crimson promise kept to me

When battles fought could break my soul
It whispers to endure

As flowers blow in southern winds
They tell the tales of my own sin
When I can't stop the fight I'm in
And scarlet spreads once more
