Dissidence of opulence
Has led me to this place
Once an inspiration
Left me bitter, and displaced

Hear my cries
I'm breaking down
All alone in thoughts I drown

Self imposed seclusion
From a battle long since fought
Consumed, and disillusioned
I was never what I thought
This is the culmination
Of a life's work cast aside
Destroy the dream of any man
Then slowly watch him die

Scald my pride
Deface my deeds
Leaving just a ghost of me
