And I grew up learning just how to say "thank you" and "sorry"
There's nothing to worry about

Had that same type of wide-eyed girl
Drawn in anime style
Don't really know how I ended up so fascinated with this
It must've taken awhile

And now I wanna learn the language
Is it too late for me to try this

New things are scary
But if I just lose my way

There's so many people in the world
And I wanna understand what makes us human
So I'm learning a new language

I have to know if I'm talking politely or casually

Still really wanna know Japanese, please?
