And eyes of black, skin like honey

Sweet and soft to hold me aloft
To swoon and sing to wring and strum
Now for you on the wood and string

If you allow this reverie

My striving prose which will disclose
My weakness and unwillingness
To fight against this agony

My phantom seed, my devilish need

You are sleeping, you are jade
Held in another weatherspace
With claret mouth in peace apart

This fallow muse you've brought to spark

How I wish I'd never seen your face
I'm powerless against your maddening ways
Which have their way with me
